About Us

Broach Bilt Manufacturing, Inc. was founded on the single premise of providing better customer service than our competition by meeting or exceeding the needs of our customers. That goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we will win. We believe that by involving all our employees in the implementation and maintenance of our quality management system, we empower our workforce to ensure the continuously improving policies are efficient and effective.

Broach Bilt Mfg. (BBM Inc.) was founded by Sara Lee Broach in April of 1990 in her home. Her first job was to connectorized power supplies. She employed a friend for assistance while caring for small children and grew the company from home to a small facility in Plano Texas. In this first year processing developed from the power supply assembly to salvage of components and eventual hand assembly of circuit boards. A used wave solder machine was purchased that same year. The next year (1991) was BBM’s entry into automation with the purchase of the first SMT Stencil Printer, Placement machine, and small reflow oven into our third location which was almost 3000 square feet in size.

Today BBM Inc. has grown to an industry leading contract manufacturer housing many leading-edge machines and instruments for the manufacture of circuit board assemblies. Our facility in McKinney, Texas is 20,000 square feet with 50 plus employees. Sara Lee Broach is still our leader, owner, and CEO directing our direction.

Our target market is the production of Industrial Control electronic devices for the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). This is a diverse and large segment. This target company designs and markets these products while utilizing us as their time share manufacturer. Our strength is in the planning, forecasting, and execution of production of these devices. Most of our assemblies are purchased on blankets or forecasted for annual usage. The goal for us is to ship completed units from stock while constantly fulfilling monthly demand.
